Abbra Kotlarczyk is a guest on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country where she makes art and gardens with her two kids. Her artworks are often made from materials that she finds in her local surroundings, near to the Merri Merri Creek in Fawkner. This includes foraging for and grinding up flowers to make paints with, making charcoal drawing sticks from local willow tree branches and mark-making onto paper with clay soils in her backyard. In her work she likes to think about how the materials we use impact us and our environments, and how we might tread more lightly. @abbra_czyk
