This 4-week beginner crochet workshop is the perfect place for kids to learn a new skill, make friends, and discover the joy of creating something with their own hands!

My classes are relaxed, supportive, and designed to ensure every child feels encouraged, regardless of their experience. There are no mistakes here—just learning, laughter, and lots of colourful yarn!

Crocheting/Knitting

Core Skill & Technical Outcomes By the end of the 4-week program, participants will be able to: 1. Identify and handle basic crochet tools and materials safely and properly. 2. Master foundational crochet stitches suitable for beginners: chain stitch, single crochet, and simple increases/decreases. 3. Follow step-by-step visual and verbal instructions to complete small, simple crochet projects. 4. Understand basic crochet terminology and apply it when working on their pieces. 5. Finish at least 2–3 complete take-home projects with neat, consistent stitching. Personal & Social Learning Outcomes: Participants will also develop: 1. Focus, patience, and fine motor coordination through repeated handcraft practice. 2. Confidence in creating something original with their own hands, with an understanding that "mistakes" are part of learning. 3. Positive social skills: sharing, listening, helping peers, and making new friends in a relaxed group setting. 4. Pride and sense of achievement from completing their own handmade items. 5. An appreciation for handcraft and creativity as a fun, enjoyable activity.
